We went to a park with Grandma and Grandpa Marshall today! Levi's cousin's Brianna and Arianna were there too, and Brianna got to be in the "bike parade" that they did. There were several games and activities for everyone, but Levi was a bit too young for most. We got Levi to try to eat the doughnut without using his hands (which was a rule of the game) but he quickly decided that it wouldn't work for him that way. He still had a blast though and he especially enjoyed the playground area. Did I forget to mention that it was really hot? It was a good thing Grandma Kris had some sunscreen because we forgot ours!

ok, I know it's been for ever since I've posted, but we have been extremly busy! this picture was taken before all the cazyiness started! January 12th we finally closed on our new house (a month longer than we were expecting). after we moved in, we began putting the salon in, our goal was to get it done by Febuary, I don't know how we pulled it off but we did, and I've been working from home since Febuary 1st. I've been meaning to post pictures of our new house and the salon, but I haven't for two reasons. The first reason I haven't posted pictures is, I want people to come see my house in person, I love visitors:) Second reason, I can't find the cord to my camera to download the pictures on to my computer. but the first reason is the main reason:) so if you haven't come to see me yet please do! I might even make cookies!

We also enjoyed going to the ward Halloween Carnival! in the picture below, levi sure enjoyed the duck pond, he could have played in that all night!

We took Levi trick or treating on Halloween, just to grandparent house's, it was fun. (don't worry Matt ate all of the peanut m&m's since levi can't have them.

Levi sure had fun trick or treating, it was fun watching his reaction when grandma and grandpa let levi grab as much candy as he could.

by the end of the night Levi was so tired, he fell a sleep in the car! he sure had fun!

Happy Birthday Levi!

Levi turned 1 on last thursday the 24th of september. He got a Cozy Coupe car for his birthday and he loves it! he will just sit in it and open and close the door, and when I ask him if he want's out he shakes his head no. (it's really cute) Levi also had two birthday parties because Aunt Katie had to work on sunday, and she realy wanted to see levi eat his cake!

This was the first cake for levi! he really didn't know what to do so as you can see in the next picture he fed it to Grandpa Arley! it was really cute. he did aventally get in to it, it was great practice for sunday.

we also opened presents! grandpa and grandma Carlson gave Levi a car truck. He has been obsessed with cars ever since we visited natalie and her boys in july ( he even makes little zoom zoom noises when he pushes the cars around).

Grandpa and Grandma Marshall got levi a toy lawn mover! and he love's it as well, he's been pushing it around all day .

Levi also had fun opening his other presents which were all outfits and a blanket.

since Levi had practice with cake at his first birthday party, he went to town and his second. he had so much fun, and we all had fun watching him !

battle wounds

So today Levi decided to pull my jewelery box on top of him( it's a pretty big jewelery box) he had a pretty deep cut, and the side of his face is all bruised as you can tell from the picture, I was surprised that there wasn't blood gushing every where. So I called the doctor and told them my kid split his head open and they told me to bring him right down. we jumped in the car Matt tried not to speed I sat in the back and tried to hold a paper towel on his head but he didn't let me, so I'm glad blood wasn't gushing everywhere . they had to put 3 staples in his head, it was gross! the doctor told me to get use to battle wounds because he's a boy. I'll post some pictures of his staples tomorrow.

so on Saturday we discovered that Levi had a cut on his thumb that was infected, so we took him to the doctor before it got more infected. The doctor put him on an antibiotic and told us to keep it wrapped ? you want us to keep a band aid on a 11 month old? so this was the solution, it looks a lot worse than it is, and his thumb is looking much better!

Levi has 4 teeth, and 3 more trying to come in. He has two on the top and two on the bottom, I think it's so cute that his Vampire teeth came in before his two front teeth. He's my little Edward, he loves to bit like a Vampire, luckily it doesn't hurt to bad. I hope I can teach him not to bite before it starts hurting. any suggestions would be very helpful.

North Carolina Trip!

North Carolina was so much fun!, I was a little nerves to flight with Levi, luckily my mom Flew with me. The Plane ride there was 3and a half hours, and by the end this bag of Cherry's was the only thing that would keep him entertained.

One of the fun things we did while we were out there was Blue berry picking, there's nothing like fresh blue Berry's!

We did a lot of shopping while we were out there Nick and Christian took turns riding with Levi.

The shopping and blueberry picking wore Levi out so he had to take a nap for the first part of the toy store.....

but as you can see as soon as he woke up he was all about keeping up with the big boys

Something Levi had to learn while he was out there was to be tuff,( I think he looks pretty tuff in this picture). in order to keep up with the big boys. He has so much fun with nick and Christian, by the end of the week they were treating each other like brothers.

Nick had his birthday while we where out there so we when to his birthday party!

4th of July fun!

So we started the day off with the Provo parade! It was nice this year because it wasn't too hot, and it even rained a little. At first Levi was a little scared because of all the loud noises from the fire trucks and police cars, but after they were all gone he loved it. I thought for sure he would fall asleep at some point, but not even the walk home made him sleepy.

Later we went to a BBQ at Kris and Larry's. I will have you all know that this swimming pool was ignored by all of the nieces until Levi decided to go for a swim!

Summer Fun!

So on Tuesday Levi got to go swimming for the first time! We went with Alena And Stacey from the salon, and it was alot of fun. He loved splashing around and looking at all the cool people. thanks Alena and Stacey we will have to go to the pool again.

Another fun thing that I have done this summer was a girls trip to vegas! Matt was so kind to watch Levi while I was gone, it was nice not getting up in the middle of the night and I also enjoyed sleeping in. it was alot of fun!

And last but not least My Birthday was at the begining of the month, on the 10th. We went and saw the movie UP, which I really liked but have to admite I did cry a few times. Matt also went shopping with me and helped me pick out 4 new shirts, then Kris came over that evening and watched Levi so Matt and I could go to dinner. it was a great Birthday!

Tiffany came to work this last week so Katie, Levi and I went over to visit on Wednesday night. Levi and Kyle played while we had a great chat! As you can see Kyle was a little more rough than Levi was, probably because Kyle has an older brother. It was alot of fun - I'm so glad that Tiffany's work is in Utah!

We celebrated Amber's birthday on Sunday and it was alot of fun! We ate a Lighting McQueen birthday cake!

The girls wanted to play dress-up, so Amber was Spider Girl, Marissa was Wonder Women, and they made Levi be a Doctor. It was a lot of fun. I always enjoy getting together with the family!

So I know I've been a slacker lately, so here are a bunch of pictures!
Matt's Birthday was January 11th he turned the big 31( happy birthday late)! As you can see
levi loved Matt's balloons!

This is levi in his jumper, he love's it!

On Monday we started feeding Levi cereal, he did really well and loved it! I think in his picture he looks like Matt!

He loves sucking his fist!

and it wouldn't be levi unless he was helping, he want'ed to hold the spoon.

On Tuesday we took Levi to the doctor for his 4 month check up, his weight is 13.8 pounds which is in the 16th%. he is 25.6 inches long which is in the 61%, and his head circumfence is 16.4 inches which is in the 23%. so we have a long skinny boy!

Levi has also started teething I can feel one coming in on the top, and I think he has another one trying to come in on the bottom. I can't believe how big he is getting, and how fast the time is going by!

So a few weeks ago I told Tiffany that me my mom and katie started a weight loss support group called the chub club. we meet once a week and make goals and support each other in loosing weight. Tiffany said she wanted to join, so i told her i would start posting on my blog about it. so if any one else would like to participate in the club your more than welcomed to join. Wednesday was Ariana's birthday so we had a family birthday party for her! It's been a tradition for the past 4 years that I make the birthday cake, and I let the girls pick any kind of cake they want. Ariana loves the little mermaid, so when i asked if she wanted a Ariel cake she was very excited. As you can tell in the 3rd picture, their favorite part of the cake (and the only part they eat), was the frosting! happy birthday Ariana!

So I wanted to go get Levi's pictures taken professionaly, but Matt didn't want too deal with the stress of trying to get a one month old to be good for pictures. so i said fine, i'll dress him up and do my own "professional " pictures. I actually think they turned out pretty cute, and after talking to natalie and hearing the horror story of Nicholas's one month old pictures, i'm glad i did them my self.

katie and george got married in the San Diego Temple. it was a great day!

so the pictures aren't in order, but at least i got them posted! Levi was born Wednesday September 24th at 10:09 pm. After 18 hours of labor he was finally born by c-section. It was a rough first few days for everyone, but we are home and happy!

ok, so i've been saying that i would update my blog for a year now, and this might suprise alot of people but I'm finally going to up date it.

so a lot of changes have been happening in my life lately the biggest on is that i'm pregnant with a boy! hopefully he will come in 6 weeks. (my due date is september 26th). i've been meaning to post this picture for a month now I'm 30 weeks in this picture.

so Sunday April 29th Me, Matt, Larry and Kris all got into a car and drove down to sunny Las Vegas! while we were down there Vegas was having a heat wave, it was in the 90's so we tried to spend most of the time in doors. the highlights of are trip were, we went to the knights at the round table at Excalibur, and we went to Cirque Du Soleil, Myst'ere at treasure Island. plus we ate at the hard rock cafe, and the cheese cake factory.
